Inactive

Current status

This notice is inactive. LearnToSwim.com does not currently collect consumer health data. If the Service later collects covered health, disability, biometric, mental-health, or diagnosis information, this notice becomes effective and separate affirmative consent will be required before collection.

Categories of consumer health data that would be covered

  • Diagnoses, medical or developmental conditions.
  • Mental-health or emotional health information.
  • Disability details relevant to aquatic participation.
  • Biometric identifiers or measurements.
  • Medication information relevant to safety planning.

Purposes

Any collection would be for the sole purpose of providing the requested experience — for example, sharing a specific accommodation with an authorized instructor with the parent's consent. Consumer health data would not be sold, would not be used for advertising, and would not be used to train public or third-party AI models.

Sources and sharing

Sources would be limited to information the adult account holder provides. Sharing would require explicit consent, except where strictly necessary to provide a service the user has specifically requested (for example, transmitting an accommodation to a parent-authorized instructor).

Your rights

  • Access your consumer health data.
  • Delete it.
  • Withdraw consent to collection or sharing.
  • Appeal a denied request.

Security and contact

Consumer health data would be stored with the same encryption, access controls, and logging safeguards as other sensitive data. Contact: [PRIVACY EMAIL].
