This notice is written for parents and legal guardians. It explains what LearnToSwim.com collects about a child learner, why, who may see it, and how you keep control of it.

Children do not create accounts

Only adults create accounts. A child never enters an email address, communicates with other users, makes a purchase, or manages their own profile. A parent or legal guardian creates and controls the child learner profile.

What we collect about a child learner

• Preferred first name or nickname.
• Age band (not a full birth date).
• Parent-selected goals.
• Skill progress, comfort ratings, and session history.
• Instructor verification when the parent authorizes an instructor.

We do not collect a child's home address, personal email, personal phone number, school, exact birth date, precise location, biometric identifiers, government identifiers, contacts, or unnecessary photos, videos, or audio recordings. Optional photo, video, audio, or location collection would require your separate consent, and you may withdraw that consent at any time.

Why we collect it

To deliver a personalized practice plan, track progress you have chosen to record, share limited progress with instructors or caregivers you have authorized, and comply with legal obligations.

Who may see it

Only you and the caregivers or instructors you authorize. Child information is not sold, is not used for targeted advertising, and is not used to train public or third-party AI models.

Your controls

• View, correct, export, or delete child learner information at any time.
• Grant or revoke caregiver and instructor access at any time.
• Withdraw optional consent for photos, video, audio, or location.

Retention
